Bart de Win / Solo artist
Bart de Win studeerde jazzpiano en -zang aan het Rotterdams conservatorium, en werkt sindsdien als hoofdvakdocent aan de conservatoria van Utrecht en Rotterdam. Daarnaast is hij al jaren actief als uitvoerend artiest in verscheidene jazz- en popbands met mensen als Izaline Calister, Rolf Delfos, Gé Titulaer, Mark Murphy, Maria Markesini en Frits Landesbergen. Ook was hij vijftien jaar lang Vaste Man bij Gerard van Maasakkers en speelt hij met internationale artiesten als Iain Matthews, Walt Wilkins en The Birds of Chicago. Zijn muziek wordt vaak omschreven als een crossover tussen jazz, americana, pop en blues. Hij gaf les aan jong talent als Shirma Rouse, Elizabeth Simonian en Miriam West en bracht daarnaast vier albums met eigen werk uit, die in de pers overladen werden met lof. Hij treedt ook veel op met zijn americanaband Tip Jar. (Zie elders op de site van Gigstarter)
