Blovi / Ensemble
‘Blovi’ is Esperanto voor Blazen en dat kunnen deze 4 saxofonisten wel. Ze blazen warme lucht door hun instrumenten en zorgen zo voor een warm en energiek geluid. Blovi bestaat uit één altsax, twee tenorsaxen en een baritonsax. Geen gebruikelijke bezetting voor een saxofoonkwartet! Een uniek en lekker vet geluid vinden wij. Daarom bewerken we ook alle stukken naar eigen zin of schrijven onze eigen arrangementen.
We spelen zonder versterking waardoor het geluidsniveau op afstand plezierig en dichtbij prettig aanwezig is. We kunnen ons makkelijk verplaatsen tussen het publiek en zo een groot gebied bestrijken.

Heel fijn om mee samen te werken. Een mooie openingsact voor je buiten- en binnenfeest. De groep brengt een 'feel good mood' naar je feest. Ze zijn niet statisch maar interacteren met de deelnemers. In ons geval vaak zeer jonge deelnemers (vanaf 2 tot 10 jaar) en ouders uit de cultureel diverse wijk Utrecht Overvecht.
