INNOVATION - jong gepassioneerd eigenwijs talent

De alternatieve rockband INNOVATION is opgericht in het najaar van 2013 en bestaat uit vier jonge (17-18 jaar) gepassioneerde jongens uit de regio Boskoop (Zuid-Holland).
Het repertoire (eigen werk) bestaat uit swingende en rockende nummers met eigenzinnige teksten. Invloeden die zijn terug te horen zijn bijvoorbeeld White Stripes, Queens of The Stone Age,
Artic Monkeys en The Smashing Pumpkins.
Een optreden van INNOVATION staat voor energieke rock waarbij stilstaan toch erg lastig is. Wat opvalt zijn het unieke stemgeluid en voorkomen van de zanger/gitarist waarmee hij zijn publiek weet te boeien en de passie die deze jonge gasten uitstralen.
2015 was een goed jaar voor INNOVATION. Eerst een plek op het podium van Gebr. de Nobel bij het Leidse festival Band Talent in april 2015, met Koningsnacht een extra lange show in Boskoop bij de Bluesnacht. De eerste stappen zijn gezet in het festivalcircuit: Hoekstock, Zomerspektakel en Werfpop Leiden. En in december weer in Gebr. De Nobel in het voorprogramma van de Grote Prijs van de Bollenstreek.
Als klap op de vuurpijl zijn ze als gehele band aangenomen op de Nederlandse Popacademie in Utrecht! Vanaf september 2015 werken ze dus hard aan hun techniek en repertoire op school.
