Jur Vermijs / Solo artist
Jur Vermijs had op jonge leeftijd al voor het eerst een gitaar in zijn handen. Na als tiener in verschillende formaties te hebben gespeeld kwam hij op zijn 16e in aanraking met flamenco. Niet veel later begon hij bij grootmeester Paco Peña op het conservatorium van Rotterdam te studeren. Ook heeft hij een jaar lang in Córdoba, gitaarstad bij uitstek in Andalusië, gewoond en gestudeerd bij grootheden als Rafael Riqueni en Manolo Franco. Inmiddels heeft hij zijn studie aan het conservatorium afgerond en legt hij zich volledig toe op het componeren van nieuw materiaal.
Bij concerten brengt hij eigen materiaal en stukken uit het flamenco en (Spaans) klassieke repertoire ten gehore.

Jur was geweldig, heel erg vriendelijk, hij praatte de liedjes heel leuk aan elkaar, en de muziek was fantastisch.
Jur was vanaf het begin enthousiast, het is een fijn persoon die goed blend in het geheel . Echt een aanrader .
Jur was bij ons om een Spaanse avond op te luisteren , de muziek was super , precies wat we wilde . Wij en de gasten waren blij .
