Al diegenen die kwalitatief goede technisch death metal een warm hart toedragen, kunnen deze EP gewoon blindelings aan hun collectie toevoegen. Brute Deathmetal uit zeeland met ex leden van Polluted Inheritance en Burial,De bij tijd en wijlen groovende death metal riffs gaan door merg en been en onze Belgische vriend Gratien Versijpt heeft een lekkere doorleefde grunt, die prima past bij het instrumentale geweld dat Klaïton over ons heenstort. Nummers zoals de mid-tempo beukers ‘Scavenger’ en ‘Silence’ staan als een huis en het wordt alleen maar beter als bij ‘Testament Of Greed’ het tempo echt opgevoerd wordt. Wat een heerlijk nummer is dat zeg! Maar eigenlijk is de kracht van deze EP dat er geen enkel zwak nummer op staat, want ook bij de overige twee tracks ‘Fearing The Other’ en titelsong ‘Behind The Ritual’ is het genieten geblazen. Het heeft erg lang geduurd voordat dit debuut het levenslicht zag, maar het is het lange wachten best wel waard geweest, Klaïton is absoluut een verrijking voor de Nederlandse death metal scene
