The roots of MURG come out a colorful basement near the desolated city of Tienen.
One guitar and drums started jamming on a regular basis.
Inspired by low ceilings, dust and an old carpet, the first musical expressions were produced and shortly after, the main direction came clear.
The first shredding riffs and pumping drumlines were played.
Other people joined in occasionally and left us with a wide range of influences.
One particular guitar decided to join as the full time other guitar which brought the total on two guitars and drums.
Everybody was doing their best to memorize the played tunes and sometimes even with success!
The first songs were written in a hazy winterblues somewhere at the end of 2013.
With all the memorizing going really smooth, we were asked to play a show at the local party spot.
From that moment MURG went from crazy fuckers in a basement to crazy fuckers doing shows and shit.
Seasons changed and a year passed when out of the blue the bass popped up.
After a couple hits on those fat strings he joined forces.
Unified by facial hair, passion and noble thoughts, MURG as known today originated that very moment.
We recorded our first demo in the spring of 2016 and now we're working on complete world domination (we're really sure we can do a better job than the dickheads doing it now).
Loud noises, funky stonerrock, no cunts, no bullshit.
